Founded in 2020 by Geno Miller, Shtudy was born from a passion for empowering others and addressing the disparities in tech employment. After witnessing his friends—exceptionally talented engineers with stellar academic records—struggle to find jobs, Geno knew there had to be a better way. A former D1 college football player and business major, he transitioned from the field to the world of tech recruiting, moving to Palo Alto, California, where he connected with hiring managers at Fortune 100 companies and industry leaders in big tech.
Through these conversations, Geno uncovered a critical gap: companies lacked reliable resources for diverse tech hiring that could enhance their revenue, cut costs, and ensure successful hires. This insight led to the creation of Shtudy, a platform dedicated to bridging this gap and revolutionizing the tech hiring process.
