This fully remote position requires strong project management expertise, an in-depth understanding of cybersecurity practices, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward the successful delivery of initiatives aligned with business and security objectives.

Job Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and manage multiple concurrent cybersecurity projects (e.g., security audits, incident response planning, risk assessments, compliance initiatives, vulnerability management).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, security operations, development, compliance, and third-party vendors.

- Define project scopes, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs.

- Monitor and track project milestones, deliverables, and KPIs to ensure successful completion within scope, time, and budget.

- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate as appropriate.

Minimum Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 5+ years of professional experience in project management, with at least 2 years in cybersecurity or IT security projects.

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS), and technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, IAM, SIEM, endpoint protection, etc.).

- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and technical teams.

- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.

- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello, Smartsheet).

- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
