Job Responsibilities

1. Data Pipeline Development:

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines for the efficient processing of large volumes of data.

- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure the delivery of clean, structured, and usable data.

2. Data Modeling:

- Develop and implement data models for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of structured and unstructured data.

- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity.

3. Data Integration:

- Integrate data from various sources, both internal and external, to provide a unified view for analytics and reporting.

- Ensure data consistency and accuracy across different data sets.

4. Data Warehousing:

- Design and implement data warehouse solutions for efficient storage and retrieval of historical and current data.

- Optimize data warehouse performance and scalability.

5. Data Quality and Governance:

- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.

- Enforce data governance policies and standards.

6. Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

7. Documentation:

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, data models, and ETL pipelines.

Minimum Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.

- Strong programming skills, preferably in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.

- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).

- Proficient in SQL and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery).

- Understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
