Job Responsibilities

Craft and own the vision and strategy for user research at HS1

Guide and mentor designers, empowering them to deliver impactful insights

Define best practices and research frameworks across teams

Conduct and champion in-depth customer research to understand user pain points and drive informed product decisions

Collaborate across design, product, and engineering to translate insights into action

Facilitate design thinking workshops and cross-team initiatives

Help shape team culture and operations as we continue to grow

Minimum Qualification

9+ years in product/UX design, with a strong focus on UX research and usability testing

Proven track record of turning research insights into business outcomes

Experience owning and leading research strategy aligned with product goals

Familiarity with the full design lifecycle, from discovery to delivery

Deep customer empathy and a passion for solving real-world problems

Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder collaboration skills

A mentoring mindset; experience guiding or managing other designers

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, or Adobe CC

Bonus: Background in healthcare, medical, or dental industries

Preferred: Accessibility knowledge or certification

Preferred Qualification
