Sales Development Representative - training provided ($48000 - $70000)

Over a year ago, a tech company proudly announced its partnership with a new client. This partnership marked the inception of a unique opportunity for selected candidates to undergo a fully funded training program designed to carve a pathway into tech sales. Since its initiation, this collaborative effort has seen the successful training and recruitment of over 40 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Customer Success Associates (CSAs).

The program is an exclusive community of business leaders, mentors, and alumni that together equip job seekers with the skills, knowledge, experience, and community to break into the tech industry in a non-coding, customer-facing position. This program kicks off with enrollment in the tech company's comprehensive online part-time training program, during which candidates will begin their interview process for one of 5-7 Sales Development Representatives Associate positions.

Normally, the tech company charges tuition fees for enrollment, yet through the client's scholarship initiative, candidates have the privilege of having their training fully sponsored by the client, with the tech company generously waiving all associated tuition costs. Whether securing employment with the client or not, candidates will not be indebted to SV Academy for their training.

Those who do not secure employment with the client will continue to have access to complete the remainder of the tech company program and continued Career Success support. This ongoing support framework aids candidates in navigating their job search journey, offering invaluable resources such as interview practice and guidance on managing each step of the process.

The 8-week program offers a comprehensive blend of entry-level SDR training, essential technical skills, and invaluable soft skills essential not only for acing interviews but also for navigating future roles with confidence. Our program consists of 4 hours of weekly live classes, supplemented by asynchronous learning and weekly assignments. We anticipate that participants will need to commit approximately 10-12 hours per week to fully engage with the material and excel in the program. Live classes are scheduled on Tuesday’s/Thursday’s from 6pm-8pm EDT.

The SDR role is driven by competitive pursuits, a strong desire to win, and former/active athletes. They should be driven by earning potential, resilient hunters, and able to handle rejection. Strong EQ - empathetic listeners with high self-awareness and coachability. The pay is $48,000 a year with a $5000 bonus at the completion of the 4-month Diligent Academy onboarding program.

The interview process starts during the week of May 6th, 2024, with the hire date set for May 28th, 2024.
