Job Responsibilities

Leverage modern tools and technologies, such as Snowflake and Spark, and collaborate with the team to drive efficient database and pipeline/ETL design and analytical solutions

Ensure the data pipeline/ETL design supports business operations in various organizational areas

Establish effective data warehousing standards and methodologies

Develop practical technical solutions from business requirements that keep in line with data warehousing standards

Help in solving problems with data migration and system performance enhancement

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a related discipline

6+ years of data engineering or relevant software experience

Collaborative and cross-functional experience in data systems and data-driven product development

Capacity to drive data pipeline/ETL design using substantially-sized data sets with tools such as Airflow, Kafka, Fivetran, etc.

Proficiency in REST API and exposure to Cloud data warehouse technologies such as BigQuery and Presto

Hands-on experience in SQL administration

Proficiency in Python
